Write a 50-word paragraph that refers to your personal experiences with poetry. The experiences do not have to be at school, although they may be if you wish. Be specific please.
Poetry, with laser-like efficiency, penetrates more deeply into my heart than any other literature. I love its unique ability to make me feel. Reading two or three poems a week is a balm for my soul. Without poetry, my life would be barren, my spirit unfed.
I grow fond of poetry with advancing years. I just began to have a sense of appreciation for the beauty of poetry. The more I chew its cud, the more I ruminate on each word; gradually, I take pleasure in the taste of poetry. Poetry is a challenge to me for sure. Words 52
When I were a little girl, the ancient classic poetry is the window I felt the beauty of the world; When I grew up as a teenager, the new style poetry is the fragrant flower full of romantic emotion; When I encounter the setbacks, the long narrative poetry nourishs my effete heart. Poetry is a symbol of life. --58 words
Poetry is influence of the feeling that intense me to muse to the exquisite of sensation. I love its unique silent music. Poetry is my soul, and art of my heart. It is a pure emotions for my love. Poems are the language of puzzles. Poetry is my life, and I enjoy it so much.
Leading me flying in the spiritual kingdom, poetry comforts my soul with its passion. I indulge in this wonderful psychic feast without anxiety. Poetry is a shelter and sustenance. While I walk in a desert, it waters my thirsty heart. How can my life without poetry! --46 words
Whenever I read a poetry, it seems to wash my soul again. With a modern poetry, I find and understand a true love. A poetry brings me to a distinctive world. I like to recite the poetries which I remembered many years ago when I am free in my balcony. My heart flies. I like this feeling.-----57 words
To be honest, I don't like poetry because it looks like cube sugar to me and difficult to understand its meaning. If I try to enjoy a poem, it takes times to melt and get a real taste and sometimes, I never get the idea for the life of me. I am impatient and have seldom breadth of mind as a lame excuse of everyday life pressure. For all that, my arid soul desperately need for poem as a spring water. (68 word)
Bittersweet Poetry as always been a bittersweet for me but at some point the gentle words that come out are sweet but the thought in my mind and the words that whisper to my soul that’s a different side of me. Some poem leads my heart to fantasy land. Binta Jawara #66559 5/15/15
What I love about poetry is that it is stripped down to the absolute essence of a thought or feelings. Poetry is an expression of emotions. Reading poems wakes me and it takes me to a good land. My experience with poetry is very little. I love poetry! 48 words
An unexpected experience in my literature class was to memorize a poem and knowing the meaning of it. It was my first time mesmerizing, but somehow I did it; I had to know the meaning of the poem which was the hardest part. I understood poems are beautiful if I know the meaning.
Former adult teacher who loves island beaches. Happy homebody and family man; once devoted dog owner, now without Tashi, my Tibetan Terrier. I prefer the absurdity of the imagination to the absurdity of imagining nothing.
