Poetry, with a laser-like efficiency, penetrates more deeply into my heart than any other form of literature. I love its unique ability to make me realize that, yes, I feel that way, too. Reading two or three poems a week is a balm for my soul. Without poetry, life would be barren.

I believe our soul needs poetry to stay alive. Whenever I feel really tired of city- life, all this rush, noise, cars, buildings … . I attempt to take a trip to a place with roses, butterflies, and trees full of delicious fruit, simply by reading a poem by Rumi, ( a great Farsi poet from 13th century) .58 words

Poetry is not something that I often read. And I don’t consider poetry to be very important in my life. I do agree though, that reading and writing poems improves one’s language skills and imagination. Poetry is an art and as an art, it does invoke different, usually, strong emotions in people.

I used to love poem when I was young, and I had a bit taste
of arranging the words artfully together. I am not sure if I
was writing a poem. Now, however, I can’t see myself in a
position to even think about that. I still enjoy the poem and
admire the people who can sand the words and drag and
arrange them in a way that the reader feel and enjoy .

Poetry is deep and sentimental thing that brings passion to my life. I love the way how the words make you feel and think. I also like Persian poems because I understand them better and intellectually. Poetry is one way I like to express myself, though I am not very good at it.

Poetry is the wind of literature. Sometimes, it likes a hurricane, sweeps and strikes my soul, makes me strength and ardor. Sometimes, it likes a breeze, kisses my cheek with sunshine and flower's perfume, makes me peace and joviality. If there was no poetry, our literature should be dead water, no enthusiasm, no vitality.

Poetry

Poetry, is the land of my soul and the land of my endless dreams; it is the reflection of what I really am deep in my heart and deep in my mind. I consider it, the source of energy of keeping my spirit alive and in balance in this fragile universe.

I love poetic rhythm and tempo. Poetry’s succinct and precise words contain profound meaning. But some poetry is not easy to understand. However, suddenly there may be a realization or feeling when, after reading the poem several times, of its meaning. Then I can read it again and again, as if singing a beautiful song. (55 words)

Poetry is beautiful language. The fanciness of few words can make people bear the lines for life. Although not good at forming stanza, I feel having my own words naturally, whether the sound, the frame of mind, or the prospect are emerging. Don’t wonder even children can drop marvelous lines. Poetry

A word boasts its maximum power in splendid colors and motions. Like magic, a single word “daffodil” impacts my mind deeply, so I can experience their giggle, running, swirling, and swaying in a moor. Insight about every aspect in life, exploration in someone’s mind, and the essence of language, poetry is. (51 words)

I consider poetry as a type of art, only with words. Never in my wildest imagination that writing or reading poetry is one of my forte (doesn't mean that I hate it). I think that creating poetry is challenging, but at the same time very rewarding for a person to accomplish.
