A charming movie that also makes a person think, Groundhog Day is a movie I would heartily recommend to my friends. By starting with a seriously flawed human being, Phil Connors, the film makes its plot interesting, even though we must, as he does, experience one day repeatedly. At first, the laughs are broad—Phil repeatedly steps into the puddle, repeatedly meets his high school “friend” Ned. Once the film establishes that Phil is trapped, forced to relive February 2 over and over, and once he has gone through the easy stuff—his ability to befriend women with in-depth knowledge of her likes and dislikes for example—it becomes more interesting. Phil’s new producer, Rita, is much harder to woo. He finally comes to realize the need to change before she can love him in return. Although the movie doesn’t indicate how long it takes, a good guess is ten years! In that time, Phil learns to play piano, sculpt ice, speak French. Even a man as unlikable and self-centered as Phil can learn what matters most in life—one’s relationships with others (and what one can offer to them). Thus, I make an unreserved recommendation for all to see Groundhog Day.—202 words

The “Groundhog Day” is an eerie movie for me. I could not wholly understand it, but I saw it as another example of the “American Imagination”. The film is funny, attractive, and unbelievable, whereas it still delivers some ethic idea. When people become behaving good, they will break out their dilemma – I hope so. The protagonist, Phil Cornnors, was trapped in a day of February 2, the Groundhog Day; when time reached 6:00 am in the morning every thing went back to the same day. Phil had to live the same day, to participate the same event – Groundhog Day celebration, to meet the same persons – old bum in a corner and the obnoxious high-school schoolmate again and again so he got scared, crazy, and bored. One important thing is that no matter what Phil had did in the day, in the next same day, all the things returned to original. He was detained of drunken driving, drove car crashed in a deep valley, even jumped from a building to commit a suicide, but no harm to him or anybody in the end. However, although he could not be ruined by whatever he committed, he got benefit from his efforts; he become rich from the stolen money of a bank; he learned how to play piano, to speak French, and to sculpt a statue. I thought those were illogical. I could not image how he got to learn French, since in the case of the film, he should learn the first lesson every same day and could not make any progress. But movie is kind of fiction, which is not mathematic, therefore, its flaw in logical did not affect its art charm. I like it; I like the film full of freaky thoughts and fancy imaginations.

I like the “Groundhog Day” film because it tries to solve one of horrible growing phenomena in the western culture, the loneliness. I like the way that the director made the film; everything represents for something, there is a lot of space for imagination. The main character, Phil Connors, the same name for the groundhog rate represent for the same behavior, he likes to live alone. He separates himself from the society. He is rough, mean, and unkind with others. He dislikes his past. In one day he notes the repetition of event. Every February, where people celebrate for spring coming which is a symbolic for renewing to all creatures, Phil is miserable; there is no new in his life, he lives the same day over and over. Phil thinks about complete root changing; he cops the situation over a period of time you can imagine how long since time in his life is meaningless. He realizes his spirit is restless; the solution is by ending the loneliness. He turned around for looking to a partner who shares his life. He is fond in Ritta, who asked him to return back to his culture by being gentle, sensitive, and kindness. He learned how to love his past by pleasing when he meets one of his classmate or friend like Nancey and Ned. He is kind and helpful for elder and children. He becomes more sensitive when he looks for the sharing and interesting point of view with Ritta. He is intellectual when he engages in something new like learning new language. He is more attractive when he settles himself to the circumstance by loving the snow and learning sculpt ice rather than complaining. Finally, he is able to express his feelings and please his lover and himself. I recommend this film to my friend specially the unmarried, to recognize the deep meaning of sharing life with someone.

Although I thought the movie ''Groundhog Day'' is a boring and sleepy move, I am desired to recommend to my friends. In my opinion, an action was affected with your attitude .In the film the main character Phil Connors, an egocentric Pittsburgh TV weatherman , who was tired of repeating the action every day during the annul Groundhog Day event(February 2) in Punxsutawney, he broke his clock and stop his work. He willed to change his life. He became an aggressive person with some amazing acting. Finally he realised and faced his life in positive attitude. For instance, He learned piano and fallen in love with Rita. I thought Phil became an normal person from self-closing ,who didn't care about other people. In the really life ,we will stuck in straitened circumstances, how to ameliorate our own condition ? we can learn from this movie.(words 146)

Groundhog Day is a funny, sad, romantic and bizzare movie. When Phil Connors; a weather man gets to go to the groundhog day festival in Punxsutawney. Wakes up msirable does the report, then off to home he goes, and in the process he gets stuck in a blizzard. Bad enough he goes back to the bed and breakfest and sleeps. Wakes up repeating the same day over and over again, until the one thing he must be able to get done to be able to live tomorrow. He must get rita to love him back and show it by staying with him over night. Finally she shows her love, and he gets to finally see tomorrow.I would definitely recommend this movie to my friends and family ( but most of them have watched it already), it is a fun-loving that the whole movie can enjoy. My favourite scene, is the part where the old man dies, i cry ebverytime, its just so sad! So yes i would definitely recommend this movie!!!

I would like to recommend the “Groundhog Day” movie to my friends because it gives us good examples of transformation behavior. This romantic comedy shows us a character, Phil Connors, an arrogant weatherman, who finds himself repeating the same day, February 2, over and over again. At the beginning he was confused, but when the phenomenon repeats continuously, he decides to take advantage of the situation. He seduces women, steals money, drives drunk and attempts to get close with Rita, the producer. After every thing went wrong, Connors becomes frustrated that he commits numerous suicide attempts to end the time loop. After these failures, he begins to reexamine his life and starts improving it. These changes makes Rita fall in love with him. As soon he was good, everything went right that he was able to break the loop and start living life as a normal person again. This film is showing once again that everybody in life makes mistakes but, we have a series of opportunities to correct them and become a better human being. We just need to use these opportunities in the proper way.

An inpirering movie that also makes someone smile, ground hog day is a movie l would absolutely recommend to my best friends and family. Despite the repeated scene, Phil film makes it's plat interesting.I started laughing when Phil repeatedly steps into the puddle and when he repeatedly meets his old high school friend Ned.these really makes the film so funny.at one point , the movie establishes fostration in whack Phil is trapped and had to repeatedly relive the ground hog day over and over.this scene clearly explained that life is time and it can also be crazy and bored.for Phil 6:00am in the morning is when every thing went back to the same day.I also learned from the movie that in other to befriend with woman with in_depth knowledge, you could know her likes and dislikes. In this way , you can clearly convince her.I also relize that what matter the most in life is once relationship with others.no daught! I strongly recommend this movie to everyone to watch for it has changed me a lot.

I strongly recommend watching Groundhog Day. It's a movie that is suitable for all ages and great for learning and entertainment for the whole family.
Groundhog Day is a movie about a pessimistic egocentric weatherman name Phil Connors played by a well known actor, Bill Murray.
Connors had to travel to a small city called Punxsutawney on a cold freezing Febuary day to do a interview for an annual event called, “Groundhog Day.” Suddenly a snowstorm hits preventing him and his crew from returning home. Then here on, Connor repeats this reoccurring day over and over again for who knows how long. After many miserable time and constant repeats of suicide, he realizes that this journey is to prove to himself that the inner changes are the key to personal growth and happiness. Connor's personality there on starts to changes drastically, transforming his thoughts on every part of his life. By changing his worst days to the best days and also gaining a significant other who fell in love with him because of the changes he made. This signifies the genius of this time loop to change one self in order to change time – realize nothing changes in the town occurrence, it is Connor that changed. What better to show this lesson in personal transformation is there then by watching this movie? ~224 words~

My first impression of, “Ground Hogs Day,” was that it was a silly movie, with not much depth to the story line; however after giving a little more thought to exactly what the writers were trying to get across as they wrote the story line and introduced us to different characters, I found it quiet compelling.

The movie to me was about a very shallow man, who was given a second, third, forth… etc, chance to live his life the correct way. I believe that the story touches the audience in a very real way; because everyone has a moment in their life where they wish they could re-live the day or event over and do something different to make the results more positive.

I also liked the movie because I think everyone have thought about what it would be like or what they would do if they had one day, with no rules, regrets, or consequences.

I would recommend this movie to a friend or family member; basically because I think the movie was funny and I liked how everything turned out.
