Here I Am

Love smelling freshly turned earth in my garden, trimming the tangled grapevine beside my porch, jumping inside my yard waste container (without falling over!) to fit in more bits of old debris, listening to birds singing in the trees all around me, the feeling you get when spring is finally in the air.

Loved having a greenhouse in my back yard, but it fell down long ago. Loved pruning my cherry tree, but am too old to risk climbing it now.

Look at life as an endless river; know that I am the result of all who've come before me.
