Here I Am:

Love listening to CKUA, smelling Vancouver after rain, sitting at a bench on Little Mountain, reading the paper in pyjamas (with a latte beside me), sitting in the garden at sunset, the feeling you get when the moon casts a shadow.

Loved hiking in the mountains, but stopped when my hiking buddy died. Loved shopping with coupons, but never do that anymore.

Look at life as an endless river; know that I am the result of all that’s come before.

Love cooking Peruvian food because it reminds me of home, dancing because it helps me to get rid of my stress, drinking coffee in a caffe shop during cold weather, biking around Stanley Park to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful view.

Loved playing volleyball but I do not play know because I did not find a team to play with. Loved chatting outside with my neighbours but in New Westminster I do not know who lives around me.

Look at life as series of opportunities; take the chance, opportunities do not come twice. If you do not try you will not know if it was worth it.

From Annie:

Love being out with friends, chatting over nothing, walking my dogs on an empty beach, feeling free without anyone in sight, as if i had a land of my own, and listening to the ocean currents brush up against the shore.

Loved the carefree life i once had when i was young until my numbers grew, as do my responsibilities. Loved eating everything once, but instead of growing taller i grew sideways.

Look at life as if you can pass through any obstacles; at the end awaits your reward.

Going for a walk after dinner with my lovely parents, enjoying the veiws of the prosperous downtown area.

stopped for my health. Loved performing music to my family and friends by XIAO (This is a Chinese instrument. It seems as a flute, yet it makes with bamboo), but I quit it long time ago. Loved snowball fight during the winter, but I never do that again.

Look at life as the burning fireworks ; Although it consumed very fast, but still like a remarkable memory to end this journey happily.

Here I am:

Love eating blueberry still wet from morning dew, walking along bay beach full of slivery sand, floating in an ocean (while reading a absorbing novel beneath a canopy), chatting with my son over ancient figures, the feeling you get when everyone lays as one in an August beach.

Loved my basketball but never play it again. Loved my camera, but it was stolen in my car by a window crashing burglar.

Look at life through a permanent haze now I’ve passed 50; see it now still with stray eyes.

Here I am:

Love climbing at the top of mountain, collecting wild mushrooms among the weeds, cooking picked mushroom over the campfire (while hoping in heart they will not be poisoned), chatting with good friends while showering the summer breeze, the feeling you get recovering from a dreadful disease.

Loved my time in university, still wondering the world like first entering the campus. Loved my childhood friends, but they were too far away from me.

Look at life as a TV series; know that everyone has a fate.

Love surfing online when I have free time, chatting with my friends online for anything, reviewing each posting on the web forums (while hoping nobody bothering me at that time), commenting my points behind them, the feeling you get when the whole world is open for you.

Loved the past I have enough time, but never think I can stop and have a break. Loved my previous career life, but realize I have to start again from zero.

Look at myself on life arena; wake up to realize not too much time remaining for me.
