It was interesting to observe my students as Gore showed the extent of retreat of the Arctic ice on screen. I heard a gasp or sigh from a number of students in the room. Knowing that Canada is the first place affected by this climate change is pretty scary. —49 words

Al Gore said:“we’re the generation” to deal with the climate warming problem. We can change our behavior in our daily lives, like bringing our own shopping bags. China banned free plastic bags from retailers on June 1, 2008. Why there isn’t this kind of government ban in Canada?

Environmental protection is a world-wide issue not only for us now but also for future generations. Just as Gore’s advocacy, combining our knowledge with the sense of urgency is a very essential start. We should try to grasp “the best of time” beginning from the promotion of new law”Put A Price on Carbon” to the mobilization of global resources.

In spite of the detrimental warming problem and the change of the climate,I'm optimiste.I always believe as a human that i have the ability to change. I'ts important to begin from ourselves to reduce the carbon such as use public transportations, biodiesel fuel is much cleaner, and plant tree.-50 words

After I watched Gore’s video, I realized that we’re living in a danger place. There was a murmur says that in 2012 the British Columbia’s ice will melt. All the ice on the mountains will melt toward to the Pacific Ocean, and the ocean will possibly explode to the cities, so we should watch out.

“In order to solve the climate crisis” on the planet, Al Gore appears deeply touching, “I wish I could find the words…” He optimistically but imploring asks for increasing the consciousness to save the planet; and “behave” as “active citizens” in our democracies. Also, he proposes “low-carbon economy” and tax on CO2. 52 Words

ALGor said, “We are the generation.” This is our last chance to save our future, and the next generation. This is a challenge we have to face. We have to wake up to the crisis that will attack us soon if no one starts with himself looking forward to a bright and green future.

Climate crisis is a big issue in the world today. If Canada is the first place affected by this climate change, our government should spending more time and money on it. The government has to low carbon economy and put more tax on carbon. The government has to stand up, so we can follow.

From Gore'lecture, I realize that global warming is not only a fancy word but also a urgency crisis. From detail compare, I realize that we have no time to wait until we have no where to live. It’s time to behave ourselves to save our earth.—47 words

"We are the generation". "We have the capacity to do it". It's said by an environmental fighter Al Gore. If there are more politicians concern our environment like him, our planet will be saved. I have confident our planet can be rescued; but I'm not sure when it is. I hope it's not too late.

From the lecture, we find the polar ice cap shrinking so quickly, but it is not high priority that we take resources to take care that. Currently, It needs to take much time that our government make some actions. We should do our best to advocate reducing carbon, and doing it in our daily life.

We all know the global warming issues, and most people have changed their behaviour to save the environment. However, this is not enough. We must realize that it is not worth to sacrifice the environment for the economic purpose. Furthermore, we should act like a “citizen of democracy” to push our government to improve the environment laws. -57 words

After I watched the Gore’s speaking, I realized and didn’t feel shock.
Last year, I could see the ice on the top of the mountain from our windows even summer. Then, this year the ice disappeared. I was so scary talking about it with my husband. How can we do?

When reading the climax part of the story “CHILD, DEAD, IN THE ROSE GARDEN” : the interview between MOLLOY and CHRISSIE STEVENS, my emotion like a roller coaster, can not wait to know what happens next. CHRISSIE STEVENS, an outside weak southern beauty, is a brave heroine inside. She has a strong and reasonable sense of critics and the idea of environment protection. Fortunately, “her father and his exalted friends are not in their personal nature violent” gives some credits to the business owner but she also complains that “they are configured gentlemen” and “configure to win“. Her father has entitled her a humiliated label, “the family disgrace”, makes her feel sorry. She, a pale and unhealthy girl, can plan the all events and try to let people reflect. Of course, her father and his friends are all included. The only tiny thing she should notice and prevent in advance is the boy’s parents’ awkward situations. They might be deported from the USA because of her actions. To me, she is a true beauty and is brave enough to do what she thinks she should do to protect the environment.

AL GORE said it is our responsibility to solve environment pollution. We need a worldwide global mobilization for a renewable energy efficiency and global transition to a low carbon economy. Responses to climate change can help reduce poverty. He was optimist. If government follow the low carbon economy, and we behave as active citizen; we can solve this problem.
