Here I am:

Love eating a cherry tomato still hot from an August sun, walking through coastal forests full of leaning hemlocks, floating in a lake (while talking to a good friend beside me), chatting with my daughter over sushi, the feeling you get when everyone stands as one at a concert.

Loved my bicycle (obviously), but never ride it anymore. Loved my dog, but she died in mid-summer.

Look at life through a different lens now I’ve passed 50; see it now with both eyes wide open.

My whole weekend is under the stress of accompanying my younger son, a learning driver, to practice his driving skill. To me, it is fearful.

I came from Taiwan, and I have been living in Burnaby for twelve years. As a mother of two sons, I spent lots of time on my children in the past ten years. Now I have more time to do the things I want; therefore, I take English class and attend a tax school. I don’t have any big goal on taking these courses. I just want to learn something new to prevent myself getting dull.

Hi, all of my new classmates, nice to meet you.
I have been Canada over four years. I want to continue my previous career, but I have to learn English first. That’s why I am here.

I love music, watch TV, and dream traveling around the world. Also, I am interested in painting but I never do it anymore.

Look around that are not to many familiar faces in the class even if at school, I feel little bit depress that I tell myself I must run fast.

I come from Taiwan, and my families are all in my hometown. Now I am a mandarin teacher in several private schools, teaching around 50 naughty and lovely juveniles, and I really enjoy it. Moreover, with my parents’ encouragement and support, I set up my goals to become a mandarin teacher in public school in Canada in the near future. I am also an open-minded, easy-going girl. My Canadian friend has given me lots of advice to settle down in Vancouver without any hesitation, worry, and wonder. With my parents and friend, I am everything, without them, nothing.

I,a mother of two children, come from a historical city of China. I am so emotional that even a little moving scene can make me tear. I deeply regretted that in China I was too busy in being a strong woman to give no time to my elder child and to lose myself. Now, I am doing my best to compensate for my family. I enjoy and value the present life of spending plenty of time with my family. I am pleased of being a supportive wife and affectionate mother. Oh! I forget to mention my important mission- to improve my English.

A cup of tea, a sling chair, it's perfect if there is a big tree or arbor. To have a book is must; even though I often fell into sleep when I was reading.
The most favorite thing of me is to drive in the prairie, it likes flying on it, and the road is endless, no one knows where it is to go. Two cars encounter in over 200 km/h on the country road that can't imagine in the city. It's like a dream if you drive in the prairie.
I come from Beijing, China at December, 2007. I have a young brother who is living in Tianjin, and my mom is living there too. Here, I live with my family include my wife and two daughters.
I'd worked as a Software Quality Assurance more than 10 years in the largest ERP software company in China before I came to Canada. It leaves me a deep imprint.
